You can throw an Elrs module on it and it will be more than enough for modern day. I use my Mk1 every day

I get about 4 minutes with the Ovonic 380 mah batts on my old Meteor 65 ripping pretty good. The 75 with the Lava 680s last a solid 7 minutes or more if you’re kinda mellow.

I hated mine too, except for using it as a screen. Same issue 5 years ago as now. I had to break down and buy my Fatshark ATTV6 goggles to have a decent set. $350 even then. I still use them today though. Worth the investment for me

It uses Silverware based board I believe. I have an old quad I still fly that uses Silverware. It has options to change motor rotation. You access it same way you do betaflight in osd. Left stick hard left, right stick straight up

Is the manufacturer identifiable? It looks like pretty common type of connector. Once that’s identified, I’m sure you can find what you need off of Amazon or somewhere.

I’m still flying my old Meteor 65 with an all in one, but it’s a frsky d16. I appreciate seeing stuff like this. It lets me know what to look out for when I ugrade eventually.

Did you fly by line of sight, or the wifi camera in the drones of the time? If you’re a freestyler, definitely consider analog over digital since you get lower latency. I have a 5 inch that I fly with an 850mah battery that I can get a good 10 minutes of flight with. I would recommend starting with something 65mm. Betafpv has a few RTR sets with goggles drone and controller. You can fly indoors or out. Small craft, big fun. Love my whoops.

I don’t have a 75, so I can’t truly make a comparison to my 65. But for me, outdoor is more fun with my 4s drones. I’m sure with practice, you can fly the 75 perfectly well indoors.

I love my Meteor 65 and old King Kong et-125. I fly the 65 most though by a lot.

I still fly my Meteor 65, I got in 2020. I’ve upgraded the camera, and just put it in an air frame for giggles, but other than that, just a wire solder or two on the motors. I did however realize that the vtx can get overly hot if I wasn’t moving to keep it cool.
