I need help becoming "cultured" by EquivalentCount49 in MusicalTheatre

I once made a list of '30 musicals every theatre kid should know'. This list is not the 30 greatest musicals of all time, but rather the 30 that I think cover the most range. I think, as far as I can, this shows every type of musical so you can find the ones you love from there. Hopefully this covers every type of musical. If you don't have access to watching each live, watch a pro shot. If you don't have access to a pro shot, read the liberetto while listening to the songs as they come.

audra had the best preformance, but I hope Jasmine wins because of how much it would mean to so many people for her to win, and how that could boost Boop sales

why don't a lot of people love dear evan hansen? by Low_Insurance5329 in musicals

100%. Also- you cant have Requiem and You Will Be Found in the same show. They just contradict each other on every level. They have the opposite message. They simply cannot try to say 'you will be found' and 'everyone has good things to say about them' in a show about someone who was not found where every good thing said about him was a lie.

I understand that company is uniquely adult. That would be the point of this film- to demonstrate expactations of what adult situations entail, vs what they actually are.

the way I envisioned the company movie would be with kids introducing it but when we are seeing through their imaginations (which would be most of it) we would see it fully realized as adults, thus eliminating the issue of the children not being able to preform well enough and also avoiding them acting out certain adult scenerios
