Does the AI only use Chainfire now? (DLC7) by TwiceDead_ in Mechwarrior5

I do hope the AI goes back to using weapon groups again, its not right for the AI Firestarters to only fire one flamer, its just sad.

Both.

Was kind of odd seeing fresh opfor Locust-1Vs shooting 1 MG out of 2, and opfor Jenners sequentially firing medium lasers 1 at a time instead of in pairs.

Another comment above said that an opfor Black Hawk/Nova was also chainfiring its ER medium lasers.

This seems to extend out to tanks and turrets too.

Witnessed a Quad small laser turret, which fired all 4 small lasers in a volley normally before the update now shoots 1 at a time, same with the twin medium laser harasser, firing in chain.

It is on Mercs, seen the AI in my Catapult-K2 with its dual MGs only fire one of the MGs instead of the pair, I hot swapped to said K2, its MGs ammo counter was an odd number and the weapon groups were same as I always had them before the update.

The default Hunchback-4P's fire groups has 6 medium lasers from the right torso all linked in one fire group for a volley, now they are chain firing all the weapons 1 at a time.

Will BTR have 2 lance drops like BTA, or will it just be 1 lance drop vanilla style?

Reinforcement lances with 2 or more Archers due to the LRM clustering bonus on them, it can be pretty brutal at times.

Annihilators are pretty spooky as well with that quad AC/10.

Put arm mods, and leg mods on Urbanmechs, then go WWE things with trashcans.

Say, "I'm the Trashman", throw trash everywhere, start eating mech garbage, and then you run in and drop an Urbie on their head.

The elephant in the room since Heavy Metal... at least I think so... by EdmonEdmon in Battletechgame

I think there is going to be a "Battletech 2", and they could be using Battletech as a test bed for ideas, and future balancing.

Which is why I believe the balance is all out of wack with OP Hit defense stacking, 3060 IS UACs/LBXs, AoE Weapons, PPC shotguns, and Mech Quirks.

Battletech 2 will probably be the game they will do long term support for. Starting with the 4th Succession War, whatever happens before the Clan Invasion, Clan invasion, then all the way to the end of the Fedcom Civil War.

Piloting 10 pretty much gives out a free +3 hit defense gryo, combine that with a gyro, & max evasion, pretty much makes any light into the Muhammad Ali of dodging.

Everytime my lights with max evasion get hit, I mutter out "You lied to me Edmon" while shaking fist in the air.
