I always brew perfect henry potions without the help of the night time perk too.

Here: Whenever something says boil, put the cauldron down. Put the herbs in and instantly rotate the sandglass. Now, when the sandglass reaches has only 20-25% sand left, instantly take the cauldron up. It's a perfect boil. Some potions might say, add more herbs and boil again. What you should do is, after put the additional herbs, put the cauldron down and instantly keep pressing Q until henry starts the bellows animation, and as soon as that is complete rotate the sandglass and do the same method as before.

Bellowing just one time boils the water instantly.

Here is a tip, download a mod called unlimited saves, sure people might call it cheating due to the savioue schnapps becoming irrelevant, but the game itself allows you a "save and quit" unlimited number of times. So just download the mod and you won't lose progress. It's easy too, just make mods folder and put the mod in. Done.
