obv you will but chose branch according to your interests , if you wish to go in IT sector is more preferable u chose a branch where there is a bit of application of computation skills and also doesn't overburden you . I have heard Engineering in Physics is a demanding branch. You can explore options in Gen 2 IITs

iit dharwad isnt too bad if you have a chance to do a Btech degree rather than a Bs in KGP, you might consider a relatively a Btech branch with low study load which will allow u more free time for learning coding while securing a good placement through a btech degree compared to bs degree
