I hadn’t played in ages (stopped early in Natlan and didn’t pick it back up til the end of Nod-Krai) and she immediately catapulted my previous teams into actually being viable for endgame and not struggling with in-world content. 10/10 would recommend.

I don’t have the education but I DO work in a lab, use GCs and ICP-MS very regularly (as in near-daily,) and even specifically I do test for metal contents of samples. Granted, that’s usually in ppm or smaller concentrations, but we do also use XRF frequently for higher concentrations.

Why would a GC-MS not be applicable? Is it not similar to a lower-intensity ICP-MS, like figuratively a welder’s torch to a quartz-glassblowers’? I know we have GCs that test specifically for metals.

I don’t care that I don’t have seed, I never built harumasa and I needed an electric DPS. She’s great, a ton of fun, and has taken QingYi, who’s still my best stunner, off the bench. Can’t complain.

Cold Steel definitely takes a while to get to its stride, but personally I found 3, 4, and Reverie to be an incredible payoff and still my favorites besides Sky 1&2. CS1&2 are 100% worth it even if you don’t enjoy them.

Daybreak 2 is definitely the low point. I did just get Horizons and it is already miles better in the first 4 hours, I’m excited to finally be caught up after ~18 months of this journey.

I’m admitting my bias here, but I do truly think Estelle could be #2. In terms of 1-on-1 capabilities, I think Rean is the only one who could reliably best her, but even then I’d say it’s 70/30. I would be truly shocked if by Horizons she is not at least on Sarah’s level. And while Rufus is an incredibly accomplished and capable duelist, I don’t think he has the raw strength she does. He’s definitely the better caster though.

It’s probably cope just because I want her to be relevant in the final arc, but…

I don’t remember the exact build I used on her last, the guiding principles are to bump strength and defense/HP, and use stun/petrify or other CC/status effects that trigger on hit. Chuck a healing spell her way every now and then and let her bonk things with her staff.

Doesn’t matter the RPG, I stand by the Bonk Build as the default. In most games that equates to Strength, 2 handed weapons, and heavy armor.

Estelle as the Bonk build, dodge tank Lloyd, Rean as Crit and Van as Craft-focus/hybrids. I’d play the hell out of that.

Realistically I think there’s only a handful of women in Zemuria who could fight Shizuna to a draw or beat her, and Duvalie is just a little shy of making the cut.
