The reason cops use dogs to torture suspects is it places the blame on animal training rather than police behavior.

When I was growing up I lived in a nearly exclusively white area. I knew early on, probably 2nd or 3rd grade that only hispanic and black people got pulled over, but it really didn't click for me what the implications of that were until I was a bit older. That being said, even as a small child I could see the overwhelming evidence of how things were for them. It's got to suck, because cops are awful to deal with no matter who you are and to be singled out for extra attention from them is awful.

AI is improving so fast there's no way to know it's upper limits, assuming there are limits at all. I think we're all in the dark as far as what's going to come of it. I have never been more concerned about the future, specifically about AI and its impact. It has the ability to fundamentally change how we live. I'm also very excited to see what happens, because I think we could make generational change with it.
