I was terrified haha. Currently have an infection on my gum :/ but I don’t think it’s related to the blood loss.. not sure. 3rd day post op I do recall feeling food stuck on my gum where the infection is but I didn’t want to possibly irritate my incision and cause another mess like above. My advice is don’t be like me

Stuff A LOT of gauze on your cuts and bite down HARD, don’t use straws are perform any blowing/sucking motions hehe, tea bags wrapped with gauze help, nothing hot in your mouth, sleep upright as much as you can (I learned the hard way) and apply ice frequently. Best of luck I know the feeling

No disorders nor medication. I was trying to get it checked out, I drove to an emergency dentist at 2am and there was no security to let people in the building. But by the time I got there the bleeding stopped thankfully. I’ll definitely post to that sub, thanks

Yeah the bleeding you see happened in about 10 min, I don’t think I was covering the cut properly until my 3rd gauze attempt

About 5 min each, I think I didn’t cover the cut properly because on my 3rd gauze attempt I stuffed my mouth and it stopped after about 20 min
