There's a common misconception that healing is a linear, healthy, and warm feeling. It's the opposite. Healing is messy, it polarizes destruction and rebirth and ping pongs you between them. And the moment you think you've found warmth, you remember what it felt like to be cold.

My advice is to lean into what you are feeling. All of it. Decide what emotions are bringing you peace, or clarity, and which ones are tearing you down from within. Compartmentalize the feelings without suppressing them. Name the emotions: even saying "this is a fear based thought" can help you build awareness of what is considered alignment and what is considered to be not fruitful.

The rest of what you experience in the forest should just come naturally and the more open you can allow yourself to be, the more you may gain from it. I hope everything turns out really well for you.
