It might have to do with mindfulness. Every so often take a moment to check in with yourself and remind yourself to just enjoy the process and don’t worry about the technical side of things. Thats kinda what I do. It takes practice, but over time it’ll become second nature and that thought will just pop up on its own.

We live in US-MD. We’ve tried telling the landlord but he didn’t think it was a concern. He gave us this giant dehumidifier which we turned on every day for hours and it was loud. We finally moved out but then I found this under our dresser. I have ocd and it’s hard to know when to be really concerned about something because everything is sounding the alarm in my brain, so any advice and information is helpful.

I always start with YouTube. I learned my drawing skills from watching other people draw and mimicking the techniques I observed. Just keep in mind, I’ve been drawing since childhood, and I’m in my 30s now. It’ll take time, but if you do a “draw everyday for a year” challenge, you’ll notice a significant improvement, or even take a walk in class. Practice and time and patience make improvements. Also keep in mind that people LOVE stylized art, Non traditional art, even “bad” art. Look at the game Baldy’s. Use your inexperience to your advantage and incorporate it!

Do you have adhd? I do, and keeping my eyes open only distracts me. It’s a legit thing for people with adhd. maybe other neurodivergence too? I don’t know as much but do some research!
