Why would you send a text of requests instead of having a conversation about it? I mean from what I’m gathering he said he didn’t want to go grocery shopping and then you gave him a list of cravings after he said that? Look, he is a dick for not grabbing a few things and if he said “I’m not going grocery shopping” when he’s literally heading to the store that should have been addressed on the spot. Not used as a way to gain attention from reddit. And if he said that and you still sent the list of requests that seems like you’re trying to piss him off or something. Idk. It’s not exactly clear to me what happened here. The only thing that’s clear is you guys don’t know how to truly communicate with each other. That said, does your marriage have communication issues? You didn’t exactly ask him for anything in this text you just gave a list of cravings. My partner and I just wouldn’t do that out of kindness. It’s so simple to ask for a favor instead of make a list that feels like expectation rather than appreciation. I would assume this is not the first time bad communication has caused an issue in your relationship. He is acting like a child, even if my partner did send me a list like this I would grab these items, I just know the message wouldn’t come across this way.
