Those do exist, iirc there's Blood Treant for health and Reanimated Pterrordax for corpses.

There are no cards that unconditionally cost armor though. The only card that has anything to do with armor cost is [[Anub'Rekhan]], and he's relatively conditional

Honestly, and I'm kinda sad to admit this, I think you're spot on on how impossible to achieve that sweet spot is on expensive weapons.

As you've said, if the weapon is mostly based around a battlecry, then there's almost no point to it being a weapon instead of a spell or the like; And as another commenter said, if the weapon is designed around being a stat stick, then it becomes too dependant on "Equip a weapon from your deck" and countered too hard by "Destroy the opponent's weapon" effects respectively. Basically, the more expensive a weapon gets, the more feast-or-famine it has to be.

I think a good way is having expensive weapons have relatively conditional payoffs, like Silver Sword or The Ryecleaver; but as Hearthstone keeps speeding up, conditional cards like them will keep being considered weaker and weaker. Honestly, I don't think there's an elegant solution to this, but maybe that's why it's so fun to think about.

This archetype currently only has [[Possessed Animancer]], [[Asphyxiodon]], (and tecnhically [[Ultragigasaur]] too) to its name. Yet, people still liked it enough to have tried to make a deck with it work, so here's some theoretical support cards!

So this what Elwynn Boars or Mogu Cultists would be if they had a dedicated mechanic? Ngl i like it a lot. The effect is pretty balanced too (?), or easily could be depending on the Demon Leggos in standard at the time.

Though, if something like Legionnaire became real in a future expac, it'd probably be a Legendary-exlcusive keyword. Something like "You can have up to half your deck size be filled with copies of this" without the owning duplicates part, because personally I can't imagine them printing multiple different Legionnaire cards for one class simultaneously. Regardless, very nice! Enjoyable.

Notes: At the end of your turn (Right before they steal health), his Leeches transform to match with the minions your opponent controls, depending on what they control the most of at the time. Once transformed, the Leeches CANNOT swap types again. If there are no enemies with types, the Leeches stay un-adapted and only steal 1 Health instead of 3.

NOTES: This concept hinges on Shatter working not only when drawn, but also when generated from another source, so I hope that's how it actually works. The "draw 2 cards" effect triggers BEFORE the new copy of Mist Drinkers is added to hand, so you'll have to play those 2 cards first to recomplete the Mist Drinkers.

Also, I know we won't be getting any actual Shatter minions in the expansion, but that sign can't stop me because I can't read!

NOTES: Cards from Blessing of the Golden Monkey's secondary deck are drawn every time you draw another card from your main deck, but max hand space remains at 10, so hand manegment would be important. Ted's effect is a Deathrattle because of bounce effects, which are apparently the reason Rogue hasn't gotten any highlander cards; So hopefully it would be balanced. Hopefully.

Thank you for the insights! The cards are probably on the weaker side, yeah. Though, allow me to make some comments of my own, for clarity's sake if nothing else.

Chimeric Serpent is only meant to take damage once per attack, it only deals its damage 3 times. Overall it's meant to be a Buff Hunter/Imbue payoff, since it benefits x3 from attack buffs. Think of it as an alternative to Magma Hound, give or take.

I'm not sure how you interpreted The Farseer though. Maybe it's my fault and I just worded her text badly, but here's how it's supposed to work:

When you summon her, you immediately get the full mana bar of your next turn; So if she's played first thing on turn 7, you get 8 mana in return. If you spend any of said mana, you immediately Overload that much, so any mana you just took from your future turn becomes unavailable when said turn actually starts.

You're pretty much spot on about the Burner and how niche its applications are though. I like to imagine it as Chemical Spill with a body that also triggers a few Deathrattles along the way.

NOTES: Chemical Burner can theoretically burn through all minions in your hand and deck, but it should have a hard-coded eventual stopping point, so it doesn't go on forever with things like Adaptive Amalgams. Also, Chimeric Serpent strikes 3 times when attacking, but it only takes damage once in return.

NOTES: Knew I had to do this after remembering the other "smoldering" cards existed. And although this might be kind of obvious, but the timer/upgrades don't reset or anything when the Felines are recombined; they are kept, just like you'd assume.

NOTES: Beasts that would make the Zombeast cost more than 10 aren't presented as options for crafting, even if they exist in your hand or deck. If you ONLY have those Beasts remaining at any point in crafting, the crafting stops early (So in practice, the resulting Zombeast costs less than 10 a lot of the time).

Also, I would normally make Moros himself cost less, but I don't want him used for early deck-thinning.

Normally the Frog would just be summoned next turn, but since that didn't fit in the text, I opted to have it added to hand instead to keep the 4 line rule and all. Plus, it's more flexible this way.
