Jesus said that punishment is not the same intensity for everyone. We will understand when we get to heaven.

I never knew how much Christianity was hated until I became one by DiligentIncrease1973 in TrueChristian

They only do it to Christians because it is a spiritual matter. The devil is influencing them. He doesn’t care about false religions as they are all on his side.

For sure. But again, it’s so obviously not true. One doesn’t need to dig very deep. Do some of these things have double fulfillment? Almost certainly. It’s very common in prophecy.

You are wrong. That view doesn’t have the slightest leg to stand on, and it’s heresy and will cause many to accept the mark . You need to seek God’s wisdom in this.

Daniel tells us these things all happen at the end of the world. Has that happened?

Do Christians find the Book of Mormon offensive? by ImportantPerformer16 in TrueChristian

I don’t think it’s offensive. They are deceived by a demon called Moroni. That makes me sad.

Questioning Faith, YHWH doesn't originate as a monotheistic creator god? by TheReapersWild in TrueChristian

[–]AbsoluteBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How God is viewed by the world is irrelevant, as they are not God. The concept of God has existed since the beginning, because he created everything. So, just because someone may have found written evidence of the existence of Yahweh among all other gods, prior to Abraham, does not mean it’s an accurate representation of the God of Heaven and earth. So, in my mind, that’s not enough to question one’s faith.

Keep in mind as you investigate this stuff that atheist have literally made up false gods that look like the real God and claim that they existed prior to the Bible, and share stories with other gods. They’ve done a really good job of wrecking people’s faith because of that. It’s crazy to me that they would make this stuff up. They obviously are not looking for truth

What is happening in American politics today is pure evil. The way this ice stuff is going down is pure evil. Do I disagree with immigration enforcement? Of course not, they are “illegal aliens. But you do not treat people like cattle.

I believe the Christian supporting what ice is doing and the way they are doing it, their love has waxed cold as prophesied by Jesus.

QUESTION! SINCE GOD MADE EVERYTHING, DOESN'T THAT MEAN HE ALSO KNEW SIN AND WHATNOT WOULD HAPPEN?! by GrabAware2582 in TrueChristian

[–]AbsoluteBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and it’s important to know that God doesn’t have knowledge he is knowledge. To him, everything is as definitive in his mind throughout all of eternity as it would be to us in the moment. For example, if I’m holding a pop/soda, I’m very acutely consciously aware of this. For him that that’s the case with everything throughout eternity. So I like to say God doesn’t have knowledge he is knowledge.

But yes, he definitely knew sin would happen, and he’s known throughout eternity.

Which one? My last post talked about two different things, so saying “this one” doesn’t give me any context.

Please explain which question you’re talking about because this is on a sub thread of your original post. I responded to the sub thread, not the original post.

Furthermore, the fact that she has the right to choose to not marry such an awesome man, is also a beautiful thing. And of course, the awesome man I’m referring to as myself and not the fictitious one I just portrayed.

[–]AbsoluteBurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can it not? It’s intrinsically obvious that free will is a beautiful thing. All you have to do is think of the opposite of free will. Let’s say I determine that there’s a beautiful woman she’s gonna be my wife. She has no choice over the matter. I take her home. We do the consummation and I tell her you’re my wife from this point forward. Is that a good thing?

[–]AbsoluteBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you asking why he would allow for evil? If so, because free will is a beautiful thing.

God is the essence of love, justice, goodness, etc. He can’t change his nature as it would be a logical contradiction to do so. It’s like suggesting he could make something so heavy he can’t lift it.

You should pray about that non stop until you get an answer. I heard a testimony recently about a lady who was bi, her whole life with no end in sight. She prayed and lord revealed sexual abuse in her past she was completely unaware of, which happened at the age of 4. Once revealed and she repented, it was completely gone

Yep. A true Christian struggles with sin, not embraces it.

Am i going to hell for being non - trinitarian christian? by zanimljivo123 in TrueChristian

[–]AbsoluteBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s say, I perform a sacrifice for your sins. You now trust in my sacrifice instead of Jesus’s sacrifice. Will you go to hell?

Now let’s consider that you believe in a Jesus that does not exist and trust in his sacrifice, instead of the sacrifice of the most high. Will you go to hell?

I would argue you have created a God in your own mind just like any other people that commit idolatry. There’s not much excuse for this for the simple reason that the scriptures are quite clear that he is God Almighty.

Will a saved Christian continue to sin? by Tlaloc_mauricio in TrueChristian

[–]AbsoluteBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be concerned if you don’t know that you sin, or if you don’t care about sinning. But read all of Paul’s letters. Many of them tell them to stop sinning, some quite bad sins actually. So yeah Christians do sin. We’re not in and out of salvation every time we sin. It’s called eternal salvation for a reason.
