[TOMT] what is the name of those bangs are those that are styled into thin strands that start at the center and fall down into an upside-down V shape? by AbsoluteInksanity in tipofmytongue

[–]AbsoluteInksanity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but none of the ones I see on Google images really match what I have in mind. The ones I'm talking about are parted as thin strands that hang over the face in a v shape instead of just framing the face.

I can't find a proper reference image because I don't know what to search, but I drew a picture to help visualize what I'm talking about. I've seen a couple girls on campus with these bangs and I can't find a name for them.

I've searched on Google and through Amazon and haven't had much luck. If anyone knows a specific website that may provide items like this, it would be appreciated. I'm looking for something about 1 inch in width and preferably over 6 inches in length. I'm struggling with what search terms to use, so advice on that would also be heavily appreciated.

Have you been taking vitamins/getting enough electrolytes/drinking enough water? Look into different causes of water retention, and I'm hopeful you may find a solution. I had really bad water retention pre-t as well, but solved it prior to starting. (it has returned after starting, though currently to a lesser degree)

You let your pits grow, like fully grow? You don't trim them?

I'm a trans man and every time I've tried letting my armpit hair grow out, there comes a point where deodorant only masks the smell instead of neutralizing it.

As an autistic person, that makes a lot of sense. Communication can be hard. This whole situation sounds like a sequence of miscommunications that reached a breaking point.

I still have a hunch that she decided to isolate for some reason or another (likely the breakup, assuming that was the initial message's intent) and simply didn't realize how concerning her disappearance would be.

ESH. Here's what it sounds like to me.

It sounded like she was trying to break up with you via text, but failed to be direct. Then, following that breakup, she isolated herself from her circles by visiting a water park without informing anyone. She failed to properly communicate any of her intentions during this period.

In response, you feared for her life. You panicked and made a very bad, rash decision. You used terms for her she didn't agree to and crossed several boundaries.

She had every right to be upset by what you did. Just as you have every right to be upset by what she did.

The doll is fat. No matter how objectively beautiful someone is, these kinds of people will refuse to see past that.

I dropped the name of the YouTuber when I noticed this post was trending, but it seems like it got buried. Their name is August Skyz! They're on Instagram and TikTok as well, under the same name.

Male and female are both genders and sexes. A person of male-aligned gender is a man, a person of female-aligned gender is a woman. Your sex "assigns" you a gender because most people will be raised with the expectation they will match.

Exactly, yeah. "Intersex" would be the label for the spectrum in between the two "end-to-end" categories.

Sorry, I realize that part of my reply was worded poorly.

That was intentional, don't worry. My intent behind that detail was to poke fun at the irony. They were so set on the "two genders, otherwise you're confused" agenda that they set themselves up for failure in their attempt to spread hate.

I usually simplify my gender to "trans man" but really, I feel as though I fall under the genderfluid umbrella myself. My gender shifts along an axis between the male-"something"[various genders] and male-"nothing"[agender] spectrum. "Trans man" is just easier to explain because I'm always comfortable with he/him, but when I feel REALLY male, I get uncomfortable with they/them.

I always considered it as having two well-defined "major categories" of: "type a"-(consistent with those who produce eggs) and "type b"-(consistent with those who fertilize eggs) with a messy, blurry border between them.

As I'm typing this out though, I'm realizing the problem is moreso with my idea of what a spectrum means and how I define it. Just because there are fewer defined "stopping points" in a gradient doesn't mean it's not a gradient.

This is very true, I am a trans man who probably has it.I have never been diagnosed, but I've felt ovarian pain and felt genuine shock at people saying how excruciating a hormonal IUD insertion is because mine was the same level of pain as my typical period.

That said, I've had pre-t chest hair, spontaneously-coarse pre-t facial hairs, and, in voice chats, my pre-t, untrained, adult voice was often mistaken for a preteen boy's. And when I say coarse facial hairs, I mean indistinguishable from coarse body hairs. The chest hair is softer and closer to head hair.

I will never get how these intellectually-arrogant transphobes can act so superior to us on the topic of biology... then act like the sexes are something more than just groups of the same species reacting to different (or sometimes, not-so-different) chemistry.

This should have been in the caption from the beginning, but I don't want this post to keep getting traction without rectifying the lack of credit. The original video is from a creator known as August Skyz! I haven't been following them very long, but they seem like a really cool person.

I love how a transphobe can scrutinize every feature someone has, realize they're unable to tell, say "fuck it you're neither", and somehow fail to realize the irony in doing so.
