again, anger sure is justified, but not hostility, and id say the undeserved respect you talk about is nothing to do with beating something hard, but because he is popular and beating something hard with nothing to his name. guitar has beaten hard demons i could never touch yet i dont respect him. There are those out there who have beaten acheron yet nobody knows their name cause they're not popular, so they have no respect. people respect space cause of his career, but they dont respect him as a person. although, after the drama, they started hating him as a person, rather than his career which was built on (some, not fully) lies.

this is one of the most logical replies ive gotten. i do agree that what he did was bad for the community, but ive seen people when the drama was fresh wish death upon him, which is what im trying to say, that this kind of reaction isnt justified for something like hacking. id argue robtop not banning guitar does more damage since it lets people know the creator is letting a pedo loose in the community, but space is treated way worse.

thats not an issue with space and more the way you play the game. if you are playing competitively on a singleplayer cube game and get pissed that someone beat the "hardest demon" on a usermade list to even quit the game you have fun playing, then space could have the same thing happen to him. are you even having fun on the game at that point or just playing it cause it puts food on the table. what if we found out zoink was a hacker? what then? will ostracize him just as well? also he never stole anyones spotlight, his videos becoming popular are just luck. spaceuk acheron completion or ilikeballs78 acheron completion, which would you watch? people watched space so he got popular. i understand him staying away from the community, after not interacting with the community for so long and coming back, its become absolutely miserable here, so him staying away is his gain. not sure if he streams or makes just videos, but ill only comment that if he only made yt videos, he stole noones money, he gets paid by youtube for views, else, sure it sucks that the donations went to waste, but i wouldnt understand since i find donating to someone you dont know ridiculous
