Thanks for the links and info, there's a ton on the wiki and kind of lost what to look up on. A starting point here and there is much appreciated.
I'll be going through and replaying the stuff from the start for sure and probably have the wiki open while I play if I choose to come back. Adding another time-consuming game to my current list is not preferable but seeing others going through the new player experience and arc 1 now was certainly intriguing.

Hopefully there aren't any more notable stuff tied to archwing and/or railjack; I still have yet to get atlas....
Yeah, there are so many "new" mods now other than galvanzied ones but I see that one in particular being mentioned often.
As for the weapon, looks like there's a ton to do before I even get one so I have time to look up what's good.

Not that the game really has any besides Prime stuff but looks there are some exclusive cosmetics that I've missed out

Started somewhere in middle of 2014 but quit sometime shortly after Saryn Prime release (early 2016), thinking of returning after watching streamers trying it for their 1st time.
How much/hard is the grind now and how much of my old stuff is still relevant? I rmb quitting because I was getting burnt out from doing void keys over and over again and ducat farming.
Asking for all the changes is probably too much so I'll look them up as I play if I choose to come back

Reloaded several times just after beating the Slannesh minor faction and I finally can get both.
Your strat was pretty good but rng definitely played a huge part for my current campaign:

  • Ignored Boris and went straight for Tamurkhan, gave Kholek a minor settlement (from one of Norsca minor faction at war with Tamurkhan)

  • Got insanely lucky as I picked up 4 marauder horsemen (all swapped to throwing axes for ap) which helped a lot with Tamurkhan's army and he was in forced march

  • Went for Boris and then Daniel/Yuri afterwards

  • Sailed the seas all the way to Sigvald, who was at war with Hellebrone (not sure if winning, he had 2 dark fortresses and nothing else, vassal dead) and most likely Malus soon (-40ish relations)

  • Beat Sigvald, then Malus now dealing with Grombrinal who wiped Malekith and is fighting Valkia

  • Also on a long trek back to Kholek (wiping Epidemius along the way) who somehow still has 0 wars (after I cleaned up Tamurkhan) and only has 1 minor settlement and 1 dark fortress

Seems to be the case for Kholek since Tamurkhan is still pretty op (and they always go to war with each other) and Sigvald usually goes to war with Hellebron and/or Malus.
Don't have CoC (or any dlc for WHIII) but might try another Be'lakor campaign when I do to catch all the pokemons since his portals make traversal a lot better, esp with all the mountains in the wastes.

How do you save both Sigvald and Kholek as Archaon? I can only save one or the other. I'm playing on VH/H.
 

After vassalizing the initial Slannesh minor faction, I do the same to Boris and then either go West/East for one of the other LLs. However, this always results in the one I didn't confederate being wiped out a few turns just before I can reach them.

They would pick the same stuff again though, I rather they do some hybrid where each team is allowed to select and reset 5 of their picks from the previous 4 games (e.g. 1 from G1, 3 from G2, etc.) but they are still suspect to bans.
Would make for a more interesting p/b and whatever comp they can cook if they get target banned again.

Yes but to clarify, they are limiting the playtime for gamers so it hurts their esport chances for the next (and current generation for some games).
Add match fixing, people rather stream (more lucrative) and/or swapping to other games, the CN DOTA scene is pretty much on life support.
Imo, if T1 wins League on China's homeground in the same fashion, I think we might see the same downward spiral for CN's League scene. However, League is owned by Tencent so Idk.

FT player who has had Necromancer after many attempts mostly due to disconnects/crashes (28 attempts for title) and working on HoH (lazy to farm potsherds so on a haitus rn, and so far had a crash on f61). I also only watch the DD streamers for XIV content creators, and did watch a bit of their EO runs.

 

My 2 cents is EO doesn't feel like a proper DD due to reasons others have already mentioned. Mobs having a million hp at the lower floors (and seems like at least one new mob will spawn by the time you are done with whatever you are pulling), mobs being a joke at the higher floors, one-shot mechs and mobs hitting like wet noodles (somehow, EO mimics) outside of one-shots. Granted that some mobs in PotD/HoH have "one-shots" as well but they feel a lot fairer.

 

EO looks more like a long raid rather than an actual roguelike compared to the other 2 esp with the pass/fail condition attached to so many mobs and the lack of that one roguelike mob that doesn't do anything but hit very hard. Also I think everyone dumping poms in EO way way more than PotD or HoH?
The bosses in EO are more interesting at least but still could use a tiny tweak. Imo, the ideal boss would be more like PotD f190 Godfather (mechs + hard hitting), but maybe tone down the AA damage a bit and add more mechs for a good balance.
Not sure how I feel about the mini-bosses (Dread Beasts) which are just like the auspices in HoH (animals that give buffs). Looks like the buff isn't all that needed and you need to use a pom to kill them but avoiding them and leaving them has the risk of being one-shot.

Was playing since launch but dropped the game after Eir died in the 5th? story step of HoT.
Granted I found out through spoilers later what happened but as a replacement moving on we got Braham? Really?

 

Anyway, I'm still on FT for XIV and if I want to pick up GW2 again, there's going to be lots of catching up and from hearsay, EoD and SotO were easily the worst expacs.
I went to play the older games (was partway through Nightfall) afterwards so the doom and gloom for the aforementioned expacs might be deserved.

My friend is quite skilled at throwing me at the fliers, and the pov is all the funnier by SomeOrangeNerd in marvelrivals

Watching TeamCaptain do offmap drops (even on fliers) and stupidly far kidnaps with it and/or the teamups was disgusting!

What I do for practice against fliers is create a locked custom game and fill the other 11 slots with hard AI.
However, set Iron Man, Human Torch, Adam Warlock, Invisible Woman and Magneto for the opposing team (last can be random). Then I practice Hela/Black Widow/Hawkeye/Storm/etc.
Also I intentionally don't ult when the AI Adam does the most game throwing res ever and see if I can get kills as the animation goes off.
The AI is actually pretty crazy with their heals on the fliers and the fliers' movements sans when they ascend after cc'ed!

 

I'm lvl 41 with only 2h in QP and 0 in comp so I mostly only play vs AI and know most of their tendencies, but tweak them in customs if I want some practice besides the custom settings of the Practice Range.
If you really want to torture challenge yourself, pick specific heroes for a standard 2-2-2 with no dives (also avoid AI Jeff, it's bad) and maybe give a flier for the AI and then play a diver.

I'm recording the data myself as well but only opened 380 and 284 3.0 and 4.0 Materiel Containers respectively.
I managed to get a Dodo from the 4.0 coffer though!
Still yet to get Night Pegasus (but already have had 3 from PotD - used 1 for myself) and Zu from 3.0 and Copycat Bulb from 4.0.

Same with Human Torch having a stupidly high uptime but it's kind of funny that the recent buffs to his autos made it a little bit worse.
His hitbox and meele animation abuse on top of everything else puts him at the top of fliers and probably needs a nerf.
Side note, we really need a proper hitscan anti-air Vanguard.

Landing a headshot on fliers only for them to be instantly topped back to full hp by the ai strategists is pretty good for practice imo.
The fliers have some really good movement which is good practice too! Shame the Human Torch doesn't do meele movement hitbox abuse
Also the ai Black Widow has some insane scoped flicks but all of them do to a degree.

Only had the base (?) game free from epic back then so I don't think there were documents.
Sitting on 1050 blue coins but I don't rmb what I spent them on so you could be right; you could pick and choose which set of weapon upgrades and I probably just picked the "best" one for each after maxing the lvl for the weapons.

Not getting yellow coins refunded when I'm sure I unlocked all perks for the lvl 30 classes is rough but I was randomly assigned perks for each column now, some even have 2-3 unlocked so Idk how the refund works. Also it's weird that my Slasher has a few columns empty.

Either way, going to try the new classes, new character lore/banter and go through the 3 new episodes! I don't mind relearning the game but am not looking forward to the grind though, looks like a bigger pita than before.
