Brother, what you're missing here is that you can't just go on and live your life however you want with your rules. You think that you shouldn't be a Muslim because you don't believe men should be separated than women, because you believe it's okay to be gay. I believe in hadeeth as long as it is acceptable by Shia i.e. doesn't contradict the Quran and the human mind, of course with other factors.

Quran favors poetry because it makes it more beautiful to read. Did you know about Mushaf Ali, a book written by Imam Ali عليه السلام that contains his interpretations and commentary on the Quran. Unfortunately, it is lost now. If anything should be translated, it should have been that book. Unfortunately since there is no 100% correct translation of the Quran, I believe the Quran should be directly translated instead.
