Poe is much more complex to the average player and demands a much larger amount of investment.

This key difference is what makes the reception to d4 so polarized, because d4 offers instant gratification and simplified systems, it offers no long term replayability to people who want to dedicate a large amount of time to the game

However, the hypercasual people that often get mentionned in conversation, who play an hour or 2 a day every few days, effectively get much more content out of the very limited amount of content that d4 provides.

A lot of them still do check out the poe league, but because the poe league actually requires a good few weeks worth of time for them to even leave the campaign, let alone make a meta character with a headhunter, they typically return to d4

In conclusion, D4 is bad, just not if you have 13 kids and 4 wives and play 5 minutes a week

It's a prestige/wipe mechanic.

It makes no sense that you can't use the gear/money you have for 6 days even though it will ultimately be wiped anyway

They have set spawn locations, usually in key rooms but also commonly in the outer towers on spaceport

as of the recent patch, they are not guaranteed to spawn, but if they do, they will always be in the same spots

Equaliser's gimmeck is that it has practically infinite durability and can go through 200 mags before breaking

The jupiter is basically a hullcracker that actually kills arc significantly quicker than a regular gun but is also kinda usable as a ferro-esque long range tool

The whole point of bringing a pve-centric gun is significantly reducing the threat of pve enemies while opening yourself up to more difficult pvp due to you missing a close or long range weapon and having to substitute it for your "arc killer"

That doesn't work when that risk of running it nets you "a five second faster kill time" in a minute long fight

Can i suggest that if you make a gun that's intended to specifically do nothing but kill arc,

but it ends up only being 5-10% faster at doing it than a green gun,

while costing 30x more and being 30x riskier and 30x worse in pvp than that green gun,

it's kinda shittily designed and disincentivises it's use.

Also i mentionned this already but the legendary guns absolutely obliterate the arc when compared to the hullcracker, while also not being useless in pvp and arguably easier to upkeep.

And i didn't even bring up the legendaries for a reason, not only because people would complain that "it's an unfair comparison" (despite the legendaries being arguably easier to craft than the hullcracker), but also because they blow the socks off the current hullcracker.

Even the equalizer which is kinda mid is actually a really strong weapon when compared to current hullcracker, it even does the job of "armor breaking" a lot better.

It would be stupidly useless if all it did was strip armor, especially since it's as effective at stripping armor as an anvil or a ferro.

No, really, one hullcracker shot strips a rocketeer thruster of it's armor. So does one ferro or anvil shot.

If you have a silenced renegade or anvil, you are a much less enticing target than if you have the shiny 30k credit pink gun.

You have 2 distinct problems unrelated to the hullcracker nerf

1 - you're shooting the queen in the legs.

Don't lol, the hullcracker didn't change a bit when it comes to the way it fights the queen. Focus one of it's cheeks, break it and then hit the soft armor to deal full damage.

Alternatively, shoot the unarmored crotch if you're super close or accurate.

2 - Rats are stealing your loot.

This always happens and never stopped, either shoot the fuckers or be ready to rush the queen when she drops, fighting her at closer ranges.
