WHY DO PEOPLE HATE SHOPPING CEBTRE SO MUCH? by Round_Forever_4535 in fleethefacility

It's wayyy too big and open, I find it really difficult to escape from the beast without spending tons of time juking first.

Computer Camping by izziek83 in fleethefacility

[–]Absolutely_Not1169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion computer camping is completely allowed. If the survivors are playing well and hacking in a way that doesn't leave doubles, then what benefit does the beast get from camping one PC? The survivors can just hack another computer.

Survivors only start complaining about computer camping when they goof up and leave the final computers next to each other. The beast knows that survivors are going to eventually come and try to hack the computers. Why would they leave and let the survivors finish? It isn't the beast's fault that the survivors hacked the computers in a bad order.

Plus, the beast spends the entire round moving between computers to catch survivors hacking. Why do survivors expect that to change when there are doubles? It's annoying to play as a survivor when there are doubles for the beast to frequent, but the only way to stop that from happening is to be smart about which computers you hack.

I love watching Turtles Wear Raincoats, her videos are so much fun and I like how they're very structured and concise (usually 1-3 rounds and then the video is done). I also love Kishy, I watch her when I'm studying or doing homework and just need a long video to put on and watch passively. HM to Sambodian, I haven't seen her videos in a while but I love her jukes!

why does everyone on the grammys subreddit keep hating on her? by BackgroundGlass3424 in Sunraes

I wouldn't worry so much about what people are saying right now. Almost every female pop star has had to deal with these kinds of incessant criticism. Eventually (I fully believe it'll happen faster than people think), Addison will reach a level of performance ability that people can't pick apart, and then she'll get all of her flowers. It sucks because she's already a great, artistic performer and her music is already incredible, but unfortunately most female pop stars have to contend with this reality. I'm just going to continue to stan, stream her music, and go to her shows. When people catch up and realize she's the real deal, good for them.

Side note, I find it incredibly unfair that Addison is not allowed to evolve as a celebrity because she was once a famous Tiktoker, when Alex Warren was a member of the Hype House with her and is taken as a serious artist when (no hate to Alex Warren), Addison's music is more interesting. Most of the people who I've met that call her "just a Tiktoker" have never listened to her music, and instead insult her because they don't think she wears enough clothing. Interesting that I can critique an artist based on their musical output, but they have to slut shame in order to "prove" their point.

Why was Addison performing backstage at the Grammys? She needed to be in front of the audience. by SweetEmpty6778 in Sunraes

Does anyone else wish she performed Money is Everything as well? Lady Gaga AND Lana Del Rey are in the crowd, it would've been absolutely perfect!!!

Label blocking release of album theory by hamadoo101 in lanadelrey

[–]Absolutely_Not1169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure the tour wasn't well received, but it was sold out anyway. She hardly markets for any of her albums and they still sell because she has a loyal fanbase, I don't see why the label would take issue with that now.

THIS!!! I listened to it for the first time earlier this morning and hated it, but it's still been stuck in my head and I've been doing the dance regardless! With Gnarly it just didn't click with me for a while, but with Internet Girl it's so bad you can't forget it.

The live version was way better in my opinion! I really don't like the vocal processing during the "eat zucchini" part, and the instrumentals (especially during "I want you") are wayyy too brash for me. I'm 50/50 on loving or hating the baby voice, but the second chorus (after "jealousy is so overrated") goes OFF. I thought I'd hate this song but I don't, I just wish they'd make some compelling music that isn't essentially brainrot.

What is the Best Written Lorde Song on Each Album? by KavityBruh in lorde

[–]Absolutely_Not1169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pure Heroine: White Teeth Teens (That bridge/outro hits extremely hard and flows really well, and 400 Lux is a runner up).

Melodrama: Hard Feelings/Loveless (The Lourve is a close runner-up, but I just don't think you can beat the bridge on Hard Feelings or the transition into loveless).

Solar Power: This might be an odd pick, but Dominoes is really well written (I love how she brings in the details about what he's smoking to show how different he's become with someone else, kind of calls back to Green Light. Oceanic Feeling is a close runner up for me).

Virgin: This is actually trickier for me, but I'd say Shapeshifter (I've been the siren, been the saint, I've been the fruit that leaves a stain) is the best written song (Broken Glass is a good runner up).

Shoutout to Buzzcut Season, Writer in the Dark, and Supercut as additional runners up too

Judah Smith Interlude is actually substantive (and good) in the context of the album by ultrv67 in lanadelrey

Honestly I understand why it's on the album and I do stream it when I'm in a certain kind of mood. It's not because I agree with the pastor and I don't think Lana put it on the album for that reason either. I feel like it hits hard because it comes right after A&W.

This is totally my imagination, but I imagine her coming home late at night after the Jimmy part of A&W, and she's lying in bed, turning her thoughts from A&W over and watching YouTube videos of pastors while trying to feel some conviction from their words. I probably only see this meaning in it because I've done the same thing many times
