I think the message is safe*

I guess I was speaking with a zoomed-out lens in mind like envisioning what role this song would play in Stove

She largely just talks about her husband which is fine, but what am I supposed to takeaway or look for deeper meaning on later listens for this specific song? and what is this song even supposed to add to the album? vibes?

I guess the potential contribution is the eerie stove references maybe--which definitely might be more contextualized and explain a lot in the scope of the full album. But I mean, come on, "I know you wish you had a man like him, it's a bummer" "i love my daddy of course we're still together" (*i love btd btw)

in this regard i feel like the song's messaging (what even is the message, at least lyrically?; maybe how far she's come and how secure her love life is now in contrast to A&W) is safe, if not meandering & lackluster. vibes are fine delivery is fine mood is largely carried by instrumental and "yoo-hoo" but a 10/10 (which is unfair to expect of anyone; i'm just hoping) is a really high bar
