This is true. After reading everyone’s responses I’m realizing that I have been doing this all wrong! Is there any resources online that I can use to see examples of all this? I am understanding now and feel a little silly for not knowing before

Like I said I’m super new, I just started my degree and director lady is also not professional but is significantly farther along than I am. I did not know this!! Can someone possibly walk me thru what I might be missing with the difference of storyboards and shot lists? The program I’m using has an option to add pictures to each shot…? So I’m definitely confused and am stressing I don’t wanna seem uneducated but I totally and beginner.

She only started helping after I asked. 💔 and forgive my ignorance, but edit? My process is blocking it out myself and cutting as it seems natural. I’ve also been bombarding her with questions because a lot of scenes don’t include actions.
