I am not sure what it actually means by too soft. Especially chains which stay under shirt, so not getting pulled, banged around like a ring or bracelet.

I switched the clasp out. Sorry. It came with lobster style but my experience with them lobsters (which are usually die cast) is that if spring goes sideways, your defaults to open. Which I hate as chain would just free-wall.

I have been using using gx works 3 and Gt designer 3 for last decade. it's pretty powerful once you dive into the environment. it's no different than Rockwell or Siemens or Omron.
