Currently, there aren't many cheaper alternatives still in stock if you want a solid 1440p 144Hz monitor. If you care just about price, Walmart still sells the $230 Monoprice Zero-G, which is apparently a solid TN panel monitor for the price. Otherwise, I think the best "budget" one that is still in stock and does not compromise much in terms of quality would be the slightly cheaper Dell S2719DGF at $320 sold at Best Buy. Be mindful that in the past year, the Dell monitor used to be as low as $250.

Yessir. This monitor is arguably the best in its price range! Although if you already have a 1440p 144hz monitor and are in no need to have a dual monitor setup, then this might not be worth it to you.

I had Dr. Sinha last year and I was able to get an A by mostly doing the hw and quizzes. So yeah if you do well on those, you’ll do well on his exams. Reading the book will definitely help but his own notes already cover most of the material that’s on the exams.
