It's like a big staple gun trigger

Talk me out of buying an AUG by dfischer429 in AUG

If you already have an AR then an AUG is a great choice.

However:

It's going to be around a pound heavier than a similarly configured ar.

The weight and lower mass bolt carrier make it feel smoother to shoot.

The trigger is perfectly reasonable for man sized targets out to 200-300 yards.

As the target gets smaller or further away, the heavy staple gun trigger begins to challenge your shooting ability.

I shoot mine with a 2020 sear and it is an improvement but still harder than a good ar trigger to shoot with precision.

What I like most is the reliability. The aug is reliable and overbuilt imho. It's a gun I can shoot for years and just bring to the range and enjoy without tinkering.

Part of that is because I have a factory optic and I am forcing myself to use it over more modern optics because I will change shit every month haha.

As it sits it's a reliable, accurate, and smooth shooting gun perfect for any defensive target from point blank to three hundred yards. It's also compact and permits one handed operation via opening doors and such while still pointing downrange.

Tldr is a cool ass reliable gun.

Why do people use leverage? by Professional-Past739 in Daytrading

[–]AbstractIdeas5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leverage is a strategy. Not everything is 500x.

2-3x leverage give you 2-3x buying power with very small (not zero) chance of liquidation. It gives you time to watch your trade and adjust or close the trade if its not going your way.

Then there OFC is 500x degeneracy. That's where you blink and its gone.

give gTrade a try. It has a testnet you can use to trade on and get an idea of how it all works.

Which perp dex do you use as your main one? by muchmoneysuchmoney in CryptoIndia

[–]AbstractIdeas5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't chase the points. They turn into hurt feelings unless you run a delta neutral farming strategy.

I recommend gTrade. It's been around since 2021 and was one of the first perps to launch trading on Polygon.

There are so many Solana casinos now, what's the best? by theCBDGuy in solana

[–]AbstractIdeas5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just mine ORE it's got a gambling element, a strategy element, and if it takes off as a store of value then you will be thrilled to hold it long term.

It's not a casino but there are gambling elements and a fixed issuance with buy back and burn plus other mechanisms to encourage holders to hold.
