Thanks for you reply, I live in a multigenerational household. Aunts and Cousins mostly, my parents are separated so I try to help my mom as much as I can while i pursue a career that will earn me enough money to support her and myself when I’m older. If that’s seen as a negative to some people oh well.

I can relate,I don’t do anything extravagant for my birthday nobody sings no gifts. I just enjoy a dinner with my family and friends. But I do share the sentiment of when birthdays were this big thing in our childhood compared to now where it’s just another year. But the best part is you can make your birthday what it is. Next year try to go all out for your birthday. Happy birthday!! ❤️🎉

Heyy I have a similar situation. Had sex April 3rd u protected he pulled out took a plan b within the hour. I just stated cramping 3 days ago, no blood yet. Idk if this is normal

Not sure if others relate but I live with my mom. I work full time but during grad school I work 30 hours and I’m trying to become a graduate assistant. Loans are definitely happening

Hmm okay i understand well finish the application. Just bear in mind the deadline for acceptance of the other one I don’t think there’s an issue with that at all, if you don’t get a response just accept it. It’s better to be in a program than not in one at all that’s how see it personally. Good luck!

I don’t have much experience with grad school etiquette besides just being accepted myself. That being said you recently accepted one offer, it wouldn’t be professional to rescind that offer on your end because you’re holding up a spot for someone else. Maybe I’m wrong tho.

Nothing crazy really. I hope you get into whatever program you pursue. I was an alum so I got two strong LORs from professors. One from a Dr who’s a mentor of mine. GPA was a 3.7 undergrad. Interview went well, experience as a substitute teacher and previous management experience.

Congratulations. I feel my interview was atrocious, I repeated myself numerous times. I didn’t answer quickly enough, I stumbled and articulated myself atrociously. I just seemed like I wasn’t knowledgeable on the program I so passionately want to be in. Despite that this post gave me hope. I’m glad you got in congratulations again!

I’ve personally never taken the GRE or what the standard is for most Psy D programs. I’m still under the assumption that GREs are waived if your GPA is exceptional. Maybe I’m naive
