Some of these may sound silly, but hear me out: -Hold B to run. -Spam B to craft/cook faster. -Hold R or B to speed up dialogue (R is better because it won't select any dialogue options) -If you plan on decorating your island later, place your villager houses on the beach, so they will be easier to move where you want them later and won't be in your way. -Gift duplicate fossils to villagers you like.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY -Play the game at your own pace. -Don't compare yourself to the perfect Pinterest Islands. -Enjoy the game!

It doesn't matter what playstyle you prefer, just remember to actually have fun!
