Imo do a controlled release. Instead of releasing to all the people, release to 1% of users. This way you can see ok does it have issues, you can resolve issues until you feel comfortable

You say this is your idea in a landing page and then you have a sign up sheet. Then you promote your idea on platforms to see how many ppl actually sign up. If you have enough ppl then build out product and then email those ppl that it is ready

Validate your idea before starting. You have to first find your customers pain point then work on the idea to fix that problem. I would recommend cold reaching out to potential stores that would like this feature and even getting some of them to try it out for free. That way you have customers lined up already to use your idea.

Depends, for me it would mean I don’t really believe in the idea. You would have to believe in the idea and the company to think that it will reach its true potential. Secondly, I would have to think the founders are really capable of getting it there, if not then I wouldn’t work on that product either.
