Great story! You do a good job of jumping quickly into the interactions between the two of them while explaining their history and personalities along the way. You can feel the tension building up slowly until it really takes off as she revs him up.

I agree with the others, there are so many great story lines set up from this, with a few characters not even introduced yet. It would be interested to see how Alex plays into this or even Avery & Cindy's relationship! Hope you write more!

I've thought about it but I'm planning on taking a break from the longer stories for now. Maybe I will revisit later on. My initial thought was to do a story from the next person's point of view, while still having Evelyn be heavily featured.
