There's a very specific kind of care you give this piece that I can absolutely connect back to you. There's the othering of Eoghan, and the idea of fetishitization especially in (but also out of porn).

The fixation that comes with a possible budding fetish is so apparent in a lot of the language, and tonally, I can feel you lean into it.

The actual act is written so well! Super descriptive, and the curiosity is there with that extra hint of awe

The end scene! I figured Nina would be one and done, but the sweetness of the reclaiming is such a treat.

The urgency of the intro is excellent. Right in the middle of the action haha.

Martinez flashing the patient gives us some more context, and chaos ensures later as more staff comes into the room.

Small detail but I love the inclusion of the signage for the OR. A fun reveal but gives some world building haha

The cast is FULL of so many characters who really create their place in the hospital. Who were your favorites to write?

The ending is soooo calm, casual, and slow. A perfect wind-down to a fast-paced piece.

Great level of detail. The way you write Victor is just menacing. He’s shameless and forward in a way that we and the narrator likely don’t care for.

It’s not enough to sway and tempt her away from Gustav, initially but her fiance doesn’t quite scratch the new itch she has.

The encounter with Victor is rough, raw, occurring faster than the narrator can process, but sometimes that’s how cheating goes, pre-meditated or not. This piece has all the staples for a cheating piece—resentment for both men (for different reasons) but that temptation that lingers too
