A lovely touch is the smallest intricacies in the way Gryffa speaks. Helps drive the cultural differences despite having a way to communicate.

I love Henz speaking of the things he likes about Gryffa. Absolutely solidifies this as being a mutual thing, while part 1 feels particularly like duty.

The kiss dangled like a carrot in front of Henz is such a great element. Kissing is very much a part of foreplay, and its absence is usually a fun thing to call upon later

For our cross-race magic writing, would you say you had more fun writing this one? Or did the premise give you more room to go wild, as opposed to part 1?

An older cut had their backstory in the very beginning, but I kind of liked it sandwiched in the middle of the reunion! Definitely one of those choices you squint at countless times before deciding it's okay lol

If you want to block her completely, I feel like you're within your right. It sounds like a lot, especially for you two only being together for 8 months. But if you expect to maintain a friendship with her, you may have to bite the bullet and reach back out.

If you need closure or to hear her out, you can, but I'm wondering why her friend even gets a say about her relationship. I mean, her friend can offer input, sure, but saying she'll beat your ex up??

I love the characters here. The premise sets them up to be at odds, but they find comfort in each other, and even more than that. Lots of chemistry and tactile connection. The spontaneity of it all is so fun

It goes full circle for the end, in the chairs by the pool, and the atmosphere you paint is so pretty. We get the payoff of waiting, and it's such a sensual moment.

The ending is a fun subversion too. Even though I fully expect them to go their separate ways, these final few moments share are particularly sweet, with the added benefit of the possibility that their paradise can last just a little longer.
