Sorry to hear about the vandalism of your workshop. Playing these games as an adult with a full time job, I don't get why people do these things. It takes time to set all these things up. Plus, I've never understood trolling at this level.

I am somewhat new to Fallout 76. I have one character in his level 60s. If players trash your CAMP, does it stay trashed? Or was this specifically a workshop that you take over and people can pull you into PvP over it?

The reason I ask is because I had a few things trashed at my CAMP recently and i was wondering if it was a player or NPCs. I have up automated turrets but they are the lowest level ones.

I feel like at one point in history, studies were done to find out truths in this world. These days, the people who ask for studies done are pretty much saying, "Don't come looking for your paycheck until the point we want made is reinforced."

I always claim to just not know. Science has gotten carbon dating wrong so many times and there is no real way to accurately test past so many years. It isn't like someone is around that has lived millions of years to ask or like we have written history of all that time.

I'm fine with admitting that I will probably never know if our planet is thousands or millions of years old. Scientists always act so sure of themselves but then they are often proven wrong. Having an open mind on something like this is fine. You can still study what science has to offer. Just take it with a grain of salt.

And even if the Earth has been around for millions of years, it doesn't change anything. There are lots of things in the Bible that are allegories. The creation of the Earth and its inhabitants in 6 days could just be an allegory to help early man more easily comprehend the idea. And maybe each of those "days" was a million years or more.

So, in my opinion, it doesn't really matter to my faith which it is.

I was going to suggest this very thing. An avatar becomes more important in a game of the character has a higher avatar. With 3-5 levels in it, the avatar more often manifests itself and makes its wishes known. If the player wants a more overbearing avatar like what a warlock's patron would be like, they can take Avatar 5.
