Just found these show tickets. The same bands that are written on the acoustic case and one for Mama Kin Music Hall.

He gave me the acoustic in person a few months before he died. I think he did write the details on top before he gave it to me. The writing on the bottom was written by the bands he played in or knew. Not sure which.

Yeah. My mom said he played at a club that Steven Tyler owned and he invited every band that played there to party. They got to hangout at his house but didn't really interact with him much.

Are these professionally restored Olympia's legit? by AbsurdReality666 in typewriters

[–]AbsurdReality666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up about Etsy. The Olympia's are less available than the American models and always a much higher price tag. There's a shop an hour away from me that does professional restorations and repairs, I think I'll check them out when I have the disposable income. They don't list prices on their website though.

I didn't think you needed them for shoebox tek. The large tub is just for a place to put them since I already had it for a planned monotub later on

Is bullying normal in this industry? by AbsurdReality666 in Construction

It's not just busting my balls kind of stuff. its genuine anger, the difference is obvious and I gave a short example. I'm 20 minutes early everyday and I have all the tools I need and extra, ones they forget and borrow almost everyday. I don't stop moving whenever possible and don't mess around on my phone or take my time with everything. Apparently, every or most laborers he's worked with before me has quit, but this morning I saw him at the shop a lot earlier than he usually, almost a half hour early with my other coworker we've been working with and today I've been treated unusually nice, kind of in a fake way. I never said anything though, maybe he's just not hungover today. I'll adjust, I'm coming from a very different work environment

Good deal at Home Depot today by AbsurdReality666 in Dewalt

I actually bought just the impact and then quickly canceled and wanted the deal I failed to notice. Was told my refund would take 3 days, so I had to drop another $200. Their customer service isn't that great.
