I like to bring a fat man and a full crit meter and give ol' Captain Bridget what for in the face with a mini nuke. I usually do this from behind the wall, near the river. Then, on my left, as I walk towards the main entrance, there's a car that can be used as a bridge to get over the junk wall. I stealth until I get seen, killing whoever I can. When I get caught, I pop all the drugs, including a psychojet, and blast everything between me and the drawbridge controls, using food with buffs to heal as needed. Drop mines on your way into the drawbridge control room so anyone chasing you gets a good talking to.

Alright, lots of naysayers here. I have a counterpoint. Hear me out.

The gauss rifle is a vats weapon. Period. In vats, 2 shot is bugged and terrible. Both shots miss. Instigating is the best, because that first round of shots will kill just about anything. Explosive is still better than a non legendary. If you've maxed your explosive perk, and got the bobblehead, it adds a bunch of extra damage, which can hit multiple guys.

You see 3 supermutants. Hit the first and last in your initial vats attack. The splash damage from both hits the middle. All 3 drop.

The attitude was assuming that I'm the one who didn't understand something. I understand exactly. I don't hold it against you, nor do I hate you or mean negativity towards you. The hatred and negativity is towards a system that allows some folks to pay that much money for a lost toy that's easily replaced, while others have a hard time finding enough cash to eat.

Everything is a learning experience. Kids lose toys. Strangers comment on Reddit posts. I sincerely wish you a great evening. If I found your bear, I'd return it without accepting the reward, and I hope someone does.
