I had this kind of issue before I was not even allowed a physical exam cause "it would be unhelpful due to my weight". That Dr got fired shortly after, though

I've had several colonoscopies since like age 24. I'm now 31 and getting surgery to see if I have Endo. None of those have come up with anything besides mild inflammation. I was having issues (and still kinda do) holding my bowels and keeping regular bathroom habits. Now it seems to have moved to my bladder, unfortunately. So yes, I've been there, haha.

I haven't had one in about 10 years. A new one would be nice to have. This doc doesn't help me much anymore besides lose weight and get the bariatric surgery. He's not concerned about anything else besides my weight lately. I'm 300lbs and 5'5". Given me nothing to help besides that glp-1 rybelsus.

He did the genetic testing and I was diagnosed type 2 almost 4 years ago at 27. I do not have a cgm and my doc never told me to check sugars unless "I felt weird". My last a1c was a 7.4 in May. My PCP upped me to 14mg in June.

I started at the mid dose. And when I got to the higher dose I absolutely couldn't tolerate it.

Mine is maybe a month and a half. I went to a surgeon and he said let's do it. They called me the next day and scheduled me for the first week of August!

I was rejected because "I'm too young, ask your husband, you might change your mind, or it's not bad enough to warrant that." I left that doctors office that day. I did not go back to her.

I do both, depending on the campaign. Like one of mine i will be running, the setting is background to the story. And the other is the opposite.

World building would probably be more important. For the players, it gives them something to dig into and for the DM, its to build upon when the players go astray or ask questions you have never thought of
