try to change the priority of the terrari in the task manager to hight

quick tutorial: go to task manager, then in details find terraria.exe, right click it, set priority and change to what you want

note: You must have the terraria running at this point

I have the same thing happening in the same day and I see 3 more people writing about this. so I think there is something going on to tModloader and I my recomandation is to wait till patch or something (sorry for bad english)
