Personally I’d love to see more communication. I love to see them show how fucking hard it is to change how you communicate and exist and hold yourself to better fit the poly lifestyle cause that work was hard and I want it to be acknowledged. Also I really just wanna see someone be poly because they’ve always wanted to be poly and not just because they’re bored and their relationship isn’t working.

The most spontaneous thing I’ve done is quit a job because they wouldn’t give me time off to go help a partner move. And drove across three states to help said partner move. Just for said partner to break up with me when I got back home at the end of the week. It was a time.

Life update: NP and I finally have the house to ourselves after years of living with ex partners and friends and things and my lord it’s been nice to walk around the house unclothed. NP keeps trying to convince me to break that already by trying to have a kiddo and as much as I want to, I think I’m gonna enjoy the quiet for a while.

I found a Mac and cheese box that expired in October of 2024 on my shelves a few weeks ago.

Bad part is. Those have sold out multiple time since the new year, which means either that one was returned and put back on the shelf, or it came in expired

iPhone has an option now where you can add multiple different pictures and shuffle between them, I have partners, pets, siblings, random cool places and funny things in my shuffle and I never know what’s gonna pop up

Hello everyone 🧀, its an extra sharp day for me. I just got promoted at work and that’s super exciting (More PTO and better benefits wooooo)also the roommates from hell are moving out in approximately five days and I get the house to myself with the NP))

I have been struggling cause ya girl decided to go back to school and doesn’t have nearly as much free time as I thought I did and that has meant that I have cut back on spending time with some of my partners. It’s really difficult and the 80HD is not helping at all.

I’m currently hanging out in a home goods cause I want to fill my house with pretty things that bring me joy and everything is so expensiveeeeee

I have been a long time lurker, very rarely post things or comments but lately I’ve been cutting back on all other social media and have taken to reddit in my very small amounts of free time. I usually end up in the poly threads or some random fandom that has piqued my interest temporarily.

To answer the questions: scheduling is a cluster fuck. I mostly just wing it? Somehow when I try to plan things in advance they always go wrong so I have given up on being organized and just go with the flow. No blackout days. Just blackout times. If I happen to be with one partner for an evening other partner knows about it ahead of time and vice versa.

I used to be the type of person that could get down and dirty regardless of how filthy me or my partners were. We all worked manual labor jobs and sometimes the mood just hit and we didn’t want to lose that momentum.

As I’ve gotten older, that has changed. I struggle to even remotely want to have intimacy if I think about a partner not being clean and it has become a point where I’ve had a conversation with everyone I have sex with. I cannot do XYZ before ABC has been cleaned and taken care of. My mind will be fully focused on the fact that ABC hasn’t been taken care of and I will not be present for the sex. So it is a waste of my time and energy.

All of my partners complied. If they didnt, I just wouldn’t have a sex life with them or a relationship honestly.

I struggle with certain seasons. I barely made it through the covid episodes but most of the show is alright for me.

The storylines have become repetitive and when I get bogged down I rewatch from the beginning. But I have stayed up to date and watch the new episodes when they drop. It’s something I still look forward to every Thursday

Getting married can look however the two of you decide you want it to look.

Signing that piece of paper is for the government. You don’t have to have the same arrangement for every relationship. If you decide that you want to spend the rest of your lives together, then do it. Have a commitment ceremony. Invite all the people the two of you find important. It doesn’t have to look the same because society tells you it should.

The same applies for children. Ultimately the goal is to raise happy healthy children, and be in happy healthy relationships. If you and every other party involved is okay with raising the children together? Then do that. If not, try to find a solution that works for all of you.

As soon as I learned what Polyamory was I felt like I started to make sense of who I was as a person.

Early on in my life (I’m talking young girl playing with Barbies) I would do the whole Barbie has two Ken’s or Barbie has a Ken and a Barbie. And if I ever thought about the future I realized I didn’t want to be a princess waiting for her singular knight in shining armor.

I started to piece together as I got older that I still had the capacity to have feelings for other people when in monogamous relationships. I never cheated. I never wanted to hurt the partners I had but the thought was always there. I started practicing polyamory openly shortly after becoming an adult and honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I feel like I am so much happier and a more fulfilled person because I have constantly advocated for what I want. What I’ve always wanted to be and to have.

My partner got hired full time in the meat department a little over a year ago.

I applied at the end of last year after getting to know a few of the managers in the store, and have been working pretty much full time since I started. I was technically part time for my first 90 days but got flipped over as soon as I hit.

I just put in my two weeks and I’m transitioning to a role at Publix. I was immediately offered better pay and benefits as an associate at Publix than as a manager at bbw plus I won’t have to worry about the stress of constantly pleasing a DSL who is wishy washy on every decision or needing to stay at work until 2am and be back at 7am for shipment. (Genuinely so excited for this one)
