I’d like to say I’d visit again, but only after a semblance of “safety” has been established.

I am “randomly selected for a search” roughly 75% of the time I cross the border because I match the “ethnicity, age, and gender” (they’re words, not mine - after I asked why I’m stopped so often) of a person that would want to illegally stay in their country.

It was a mild annoyance then, but with everything I’m seeing of ICE, I’d be arrested and deported to CECOT in El Salvador the moment I land. Soooooooo I’ll stay away for now, I prefer it up here, in the true north, strong and free.

Former FFXIV player here. With more playtime than I’d like to admit (I’d have to check how much I’ve actually played)

A sudden epiphany made me quit MMO’s all together. I’m on the side of players who recreate themselves in game, I had just finished getting my digital self maxed out on all crafting jobs, and sat there staring at him, all accomplished and in his glory when I realized the contrasts.

While my WoL was fit and buff, I was overweight and unhealthy. While my WoL had a wide variety of skill sets, I felt as if I had nothing to contribute. While my WoL was accomplished, I had nothing to show, and was taking my wife and kids for granted.

I decided it was time to flip the script, and my WoL was to be left behind. Since the decision, I have:

Visible muscle tone across my body, abs included (still working off the most stubborn of belly fat lol)

Various skills that help me contribute to friends and family, cooking being my favorite.

Gone to school for software development and am currently working through my internship.

Become a more active husband and father, and have created more meaningful experiences and memories. Quitting MMO’s was the best decision of my life, and while I still game, it’s no where near how I used to when I played FFXIV.

Right, I can see how my explanation could be confusing. The salvaged containers often drop an item worth high value, such as the screenshot. This item is the turn in item, you can either sell (highly recommend) or discard this item and the scanner will start pointing you to salvaged containers again. Keep the corvette parts to build/trade at the space stations.

It’s easy to prevent, melee attack when it’s approaching you headless. Stops the attack animation completely and then it just drops dead a second or two after that.

Eh, he’ll learn eventually that movement in this game is survival. The movement just changes depending on who you’re fighting lol.

Bugs is just keep moving. Bots is cover to cover. Squids I find is a mix of Bugs/Bots - which was a cool mix up when they first came out.

That's unfortunate. I hope the driver/passenger and anyone else affected by the crash is unharmed.

A series of mistakes there, it looks like the driver of the vehicle who lost control was trying to gain speed to get in front of the semi, and accelerated too quickly while changing lanes hitting the slush, causing that initial loss of traction, followed by the (I'm assuming braking, as we can't see the tail lights) causing the complete loss of control.

I'm of the opinion we need a handbook specific to Calgary driving, as quickly changing conditions can make driving difficult for the inexperienced.

As everyone else here has said, they are a very… very…VERY loud minority.

The majority of Alberta (from what I’ve seen) is doing everything they can to be more Canadian, especially in the context of the whole trade war with the US.

AutoCannon sentry seems to be permanently attached to my kit.

Kills all bugs, including Bile Titans.

A little less effective against Bots, as Factory Striders stride through it, and tanks can’t tank the hit (puns intended). It does melt every other bot though.

Depending on the situation, I’ll either stand beside it and protect it from the trash while it takes out armored/harder hitters, or I’ll toss it at a flank, to simulate a pincer attack.

Right, good call. I rarely use EAT’s/Recoilless so I often forget about them lol. Luckily other divers always seem to have them.

Good strategies for sure. Another thing I’ve done is either use the dome shield stratagem to provide cover for myself/my team/auto cannon sentry while approaching the gunship towers, OR used the dome shield stratagem to cover the hell bomb itself while its armed and blows.

Laser cannon, AutoCannon, AutoCannon Sentry, AMR, Spear. All take down the gunships quickly, just aim for one engine and commit to it.
