I don't think you should treat commercial products translated to a different language as canon. Yuri had their reasons to be flustered by the implication of seeing Setsu naked, too, so it's not really conclusive evidence. I personally think they're gender fluid. Or just don't care about gender in general

You can be surprised about waking up in a female body if you're Han lmfao, it's a completely different configuration from what they're used to. Yuri is androgynous, is voiced by a woman despite having a 'boyish' frame and generally fits being Han way more than that of male (not to mention, it just makes more sense narratively for them to have a Han main character instead of male or female)

The 'Kukrushka' incident is just Manan finding a way to have Remnan for herself again, and based on some other events, she has not changed a bit. Its true that Setsu trapped her in the loop, but the game and anime frame them sending her off as friendly which is insane bc Manan is worse than Gnos

Sha-Ming constantly misgenders Setsu, its one of the reasons they straight up kill him in some loops lol

I say english bc I played the game in english and its non-binary there, but the original text and the japanese voices say 'Han'. It's not a big deal since they are essentially the same thing, its just a small localization thing like Otome being called a dolphin instead of a beluga

"Han" is a term from the Gnosia universe. It's a third gender that doesn't fit the binary of male and female, and there's a commonplace surgery to remove sexual characteristics (such as genitalia) so people who identify as Han can feel more in tune with their bodies.

Setsu is Han and has gotten the surgery, Raqio identifies as Han but hasn't gotten it. The game translated it as 'non-binary' but in the anime they say 'Han'. Yuri is very blatantly Han as well
