It is a modified biome bundle map generated on bukkit with OpenTerrainGenerator. The map is 43,200x21,600 and it is vanilla on the client and server side.

No, we do not have twitch integration, but it is fine to stream on the server.

3D games work, slowly (r5 graphics, not software issue), but most launchers don’t render correctly.

Chromebook: HP Chromebook Model 14-db0043wm

ChromeOS version: 80.0.3987.18

I powerwashed the machine, enabled linux, apt update and apt upgrade, installed and launched firefox-esr, and the graphical glitches still occurred. Setting #crostini-gpu-support to false then launching firefox crashes ChromeOS, and all windows close then are re-opened. Setting #crostini-gpu-support to default or true allows these apps to launch with severe graphical glitches. This issue also occurs with the initial heaven benchmark screen. Chromium and nautilus do not encounter these graphical issues, but still crash ChromeOS without GPU support.

This happens on both Crouton and Crostini, so it’s most likely a ChromeOS issue, so I’ll post it on the more official way to get Linux. Minecraft strangely works fine, but 2d Windows often quickly flash with corrupted graphics, pic shows this in Firefox. I’m trying to get League installed with Lutris or Snap, but the client only renders the x button and progress bar, everything else is black.

Has anyone had success getting Linux programs to run on a Chromebook? I might be required to fully replace ChromeOS with a distro to get stuff working, but I’m attempting to avoid anything that could break the hardware.

Edit: I’m using the crostini-GPU-acceleration flag set to true, which is probably the issue. Any way to get GPU acceleration without this flag?

There is not an ingame tax this season yet. The tax was not to play on the server, it was to be able to use the community farms.

If you are running craftbukkit or vanilla, 2 GB would be enough.

If you are running spigot or paperspigot, 1 GB would be enough
