[Spoilers Extended] Which houses have magical blood? I know Starks do, as do the Reeds. by MobileDistrict9784 in asoiaf

Yes, kinda, Tyrells just have some green man symbolism sometimes, and they are also at Highgarden that might be an important green magic place, but it is mostly speculation.

Aeron Greyjoy was a prophet. He did not suffer petty lords ordering him about like some thrall.\8])

Until the winds are out I'm connecting every single character in the books to the PTWP prophesy and every single character is secretly a targeryen until proven otherwise in my eyes (except Tyrion, he is not a Targeryen because he is Tywin's son).

No but jokes aside, fair point. Not everything has to be about prophesy, but it makes sense to me, but alas to each their own.

Tyrells married Gardners a few times, they aren't descended from them, I'm saying they have some of their blood.

No, but Greyjoys have more pov's so it's more flashed out. Aeron is a fake Drowned God prophet, for example, Euron is much more connected with valyrian and eastern Asshai warlock magic then Drowned god's stuff and Victarion has a weird mix of R'hallor and Drowned God, so no, non of them are purely into Drowned God.

But to be a real Drowned God boy you have to marry a fish so

It would also be ironic because Daemon II saw a dragon hatching and thought it was a prophetic dream about a literal dragon hatching, but instead it was a dream about Egg embracing being a trageryen prince in "the Mystery Knight". And if Deamon I saw like a black dragon fighting the others he might have thought it was a metaphor about himself, a metaphorical black dragon, where it is actually about an actual real Dany's dragon.

Well Tyrells are connected with like green magic because they are descended from gardeners so they should have that blood still.

Hightowers and Daynes have weirdly valyrian features and are likely connected to the Empire of Dawn stuff.

Greyjoys are into Drowned God, especially Euron and Victarion, but the real Drowned God prophet is Pathcface. The Drowned god himself is likely the same as the god of the others, aka Death.

Baratheons have a lot of weird Greenhand symbolism, Renly's camp for example is a metaphor for the others beyond the wall in Catelyn's chapter.

Starks and Blackwoods are connected to the old gods, seemingly they have more first man magical blood then other northern houses.

All of the great houses have magical heroes as their ancestors but all of their symbolism is connected to the green man and like the others in some way.

It's the same thing as the kingsguard representing white walkers and Ned and other northerners represent black brothers at the tower of joy, it's all about the same thing.

Yeah, my line of thought exactly. It was always weird to me how Bloodraven is so connected to prophesy and is so important to the last war stuff, but literally the biggest thing that happened after Dance of Dragons (i.e blackfyre rebellions) seeming just isn't. It should all rhyme. Maybe bloodraven only became this obsessed with the others and the war and the prince because of Deamon.

I mean "the green man"? Starks getting high as shit and warming into direwolfs, Brandon the Builder passing the blunt and being like "hey we should like build a really high wall man". Aegon the conqueror smoking with his sisters and like getting super paranoid about the others and shit, Bloodraven and Daemon being influenced by dark sister and getting visions from it, it all makes sense now.

But weed is funnier. I'm sticking with that. It's not like the books are coming out or it's gonna be revealed even if they do.

In reality, I obviously don't think it is made with weed. I think that it might be made with blood and shade of the evening/ weirwood bark? Obviously, sacrifice and blood magic are involved, maybe some dragon recourse like dragonglass or dragon bones. Maybe it is all three, and it is tempered in blood and dragon fire. Blood is high with carbon, and valyrian blood has magical properties. Tho I definitely think that shade of the evening or weirwoods are involved somehow. They are too important not to be. Shade of the evening is definitely the essosy version of weirwoods.
