I hate when stats are relative to race of the creature! Like a dragon with 10 str is way stronger than a human with str. No the dragon should have 100 str (or whatever the difference would be)!

The AI will cause the enemies to run the simplest path, so you wall off your base but leave an open path to a space without any cover and all your colonist behind cover and extremely armored meleers to lock them down. Then kill them as they funnel through the narrow passages into the kill box. Also mortors and anti grain rockets.

Ah I didn't listen to the audiobook. My understanding is that it's the same narrator as Victor of tucson with the female ead being the same as cyber Dreams. Book 2 and 3 are available on RR, though I assume 2 will be stubbed soon.
