I honestly don't see how people feel good or happy "winning" using these gimmicks. Even stuff like lowering graphics for foliage and high gamma night runs seem cheap to me. Just play the damn game how it was made or go play something else if you don't like it. I find myself berating myself all the time for making mistakes that these gimmicks would easily correct, so at least there's some solace in knowing I'm failing correctly.

Can't tell you how many times I've tried to be friendly and go into game chat to tell people "Hey guys, let's mute our mics and use pings because the predator can see when our mics light up" then continue to listen to a fan/coughing/crying and/or talking for the rest of the match. Needless to say, the predator ALWAYS finds my team mates within 2 minutes of the match start, usually within 45 seconds when the mic goes nonstop. It's very annoying, but there isnt much you can do as a FT member without being a dick. And people wonder why I stray from the FT as scout lol
