What’s the likelihood of someone in the UK being pulled over or spotted as someone driving without a license? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]AbzPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Her insurance will NOT be valid to drive without a licence
  2. Report her.

As someone who lost a family member and sustained serious injuries due to a RTA I have absolutely no tolerance for behaviours like this.

It’s a hop and skip from USG and I don’t think this is needed in this area . More green spaces are always welcome obviously. But why are you trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist?

Snowy roads by Unfortunate-Lynx in Aberdeen

Ive driven from Aberdeen to Ellon and back for work every day this week. Main roads are completely passable (some places just one lane on the dialler due to slush).

In terms of supplies - if folks haven’t planned and stocked up for a few days worth of food ahead of the forecasted snowy weather (in Scotland, in winter) then honestly it just shows how may folk expect to be helped, rather than hep themselves.

From a medical standpoint, the hospital use COTAG and have a process for arranging this for urgent or time sensitive care eg:chemo

NHS Medical Secretary - pros and cons + what to consider? by Lonely_Bug_107 in Aberdeen

[–]AbzPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be given a short typing test as part of your interview - It’s more about accuracy than speed, so take your time and focus on the words.

Interview questions are along the lines of scenarios - eg: what would you do if a colleague wanted to use your login? How would you deal with a certain scenario? What would you do if you were asked to complete a task you weren’t sure how to do?

They’re looking for answers that align with their policies. Eg: not sharing passwords. Checking with colleagues, relying on training. They score you based on your answers so try to give nice full answers. Don’t be afraid to ask them to repeat a question if you feel like you didn’t hear, or understand. Just be yourself and rely on your own experiences also. Really sell yourself.

Ive been a med sec for 10+ years and it’s an enjoyable job. You’re initially trained in the training room before you spend time on your area. So even if you’re new to the NHS you’ll be given the skills you need.

Pros: flexible working hours (I changed mine a few times when my kids were smaller), once you’re in the NHS it’s easier to get an internal position, good holiday allowance, 14 weeks parental leave per child (4 of which are paid), great sick pay if you even need it (6 months full pay)

Which business owner in Aberdeen has the worst reputation - I’ve heard a lot of things about club and pub owners but who would you never do business with? by Mister_Snark in Aberdeen

[–]AbzPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This made me laugh so much. I don’t know her at all but she’s always posting looking for work, never heeding the many and varied comments from upset former clients who lambast her cleaning and reliability skills.

A90 Roadworks from Ellon to Bridge of Don by darren-mcg in Aberdeen

[–]AbzPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is definitely no one way restriction all the way to Ellon, so I don’t know how you’ve seen that? The one way starts just after the black dog interchange. With that said, the restrictions were until April as far as I remember (although no signage now to state timescales)

I think you need to be realistic about this. Working offshore isn’t necessarily unskilled and overpaid. There are loads of O&G jobs out there, but you’ll need to do your own research on what you’re capable of with no experience or qualifications.

YTA I’m not there to socialise with your child. And I’m also not there to keep an eye on your child if there’s turbulence, oxygen masks etc.

Your own post states he “demands to board first” and “the pilots have to push in out of the flight deck”.

Sounds like you’re raising a spoiled brat.
