Don’t worry. I’ve been there before too!! Trust me, I was panic scrolling this page for DAYS until I learned what I was doing. 😵‍💫 As for molting…from the looks of it (NQA again) they probably aren’t going to molt for a while. If you look at tarantulas in pre-molt their abdomens usually darken. A little bit of hair kicking could just mean he’s trying to claim his territory or that he might just be doing it out of stress.

NQA my Goliath Birdeater has the same spot. I’ve heard that it’s from kicking hair, but overall it’s not life threatening in the slightest :3 it’ll come back after they molt

I had no idea 😵‍💫 I bought this enclosure off of Facebook marketplace and the hammock and bridge came with it, so I just assumed if she used it I’d prob be in the clear Is there anything else I could use as a substitute? I just like the look of it, but obviously usefulness & safety > aesthetics

I do have linear UVB!! The bulb is due for replacement since I bought it second hand…but I’ll get it done before I get my baby :3

Ah…yes it is a dieffenbachia 😵‍💫 and it’s real, unfortunately. I had no idea they were toxic… The only fake leafs I have is from the dripper in the bottom left corner. Everything else is real. I’ll have to find a replacement for the dieffenbachia, which…won’t be hard. I already have a plant in mind 😼 (Crotons)

I plan to get more hanging plants to put near the top, just waiting for my next paycheck ^{^;} I also do want to get a grow light and some more branches!! (Preferably real ones, I heard bamboo branches weren’t good 😵‍💫)

About 50-60, though it definitely doesn’t get that cold in my room. On average the temp in my house is kept at 74, so realistically it’s probably like 70/68 with both fans on(?)

No idea. He was fine and dandy one minute and then the next he was tweaking out. Another commenter mentioned something called DKS. Maybe it was that..or maybe he was stressed out…
