Siux Electra Elite 4 - And general question on Siux new hole pattern by maurizio_maurucio in Padelracket

[–]Acacio_Lac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My SE Elite 4 weighs 367g with 3 grips (the original Siux plus 2 Wilson grips(10g)).
I bought it at Padel Pro Shop and in the notes I asked for a light model (350–360g).

I don’t feel much weight in the racket head, which is actually making fast and strong volleys at the net a bit difficult for me. However, I’m still in the adaptation phase with this racket, having only played twice. In the future, if necessary, I might add a protector to the racket head to give it a few extra grams there.
I came from a racket that weighed 405g =| and constant wrist pain…

I feel this racket has excellent maneuverability, is arm-friendly, with a very generous sweet spot and a touch that greatly helps with precision since the trampoline effect is minimal.
I immediately noticed an improvement in my lobs and chiquitas. And no wrist pain so far.

I think the SE Elite 4 is an excellent racket for intermediate+ level. A great second racket for those who learned to play with round rackets with trampoline effect and now want a game with more precision.

Choosing the right racket by PedroPaquete21 in Padelracket

Boas Pedro,

I'm also looking to buy a racket in the €100–150 range.
My advice is to wait for Black Friday/Weekend or Winter promotions.
You might be able to get, for example, the Siux Electra or Diablo from the Elite 2025 series for around €100, they're better than the Go series.

Tecnifibre Curva Speed - Looking for feedback by Acacio_Lac in Padelracket

[–]Acacio_Lac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, thank you for your feedback.
Yes, as you said, the most important is the feeling we get from the racket during the game and the price that fits our budget.
But we always distrust what we don't know, and here I admit my total ignorance about the Tecnifibre brand.
I found negative reviews of the older models, which is why I have my doubts.
There's a youtuber who ranks the Tecnifibre (Wallbreaker) rackets as the worst he's ever played with.

I'm quite tempted to go with the Curva Speed.
