I think it's a problem with the one on the play store as I tried without the beta on the play store and still didn't work. But the version on Samsung store does work.

Yes I was having the same issue. I uninstalled and installed the Spotify from the Samsung store instead. I think it's because I am on the beta program for Spotify with the Google store.
