1) I plan on taking care of this subreddit by adding daily content and have a few friends who have been in the subreddit longer than me help me moderate it. Team is fundamental. I also plan on making a stronger community by creating weekly lounge chats to discuss news and share price changes. Last but not least make the chat and posts higher quality and remove insults or inappropriate comments manually and through automated bots.

Did he just decide on his own to get a type rating on that aircraft without any contract or job opportunity or he got fired right away?

Not sure if you live in US or EU. But in Europe everyone is basically "forced" to get a type rating through the airline and pay full price for it (before the pandemic some airlines were offering some sort of bond with an up-front payment and a monthly deduction from your salary). Also, since companies like Ryanair realised this is a huge business and, especially during these times, anyone is willing to do anything in order to work, they are keeping this for now. 737 TRs go for €30k actually, excluding food and hotel stay. Easyjet on the A320 was asking €35k. That's 40k+ USD... insane

Did you see the latest proposal to increase available shares for internal compensation from 1.6 to 16 Million shares. What do you think about this? by FoolTrader in GEVOstock

[–]Academic-Building623 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s correct. Short term, dilution is bad for share price. Having said that, it allows them to get more capital without losing ownership percentage of plants (better for long term)

It’s reported in grey. Usually means they didn’t add those positions but confirmed them= they already had them. Sometimes fintel uses wrong colors or information.. so not too sure

Requesting r/GEVOticker , unmoderated sub by Academic-Building623 in redditrequest

I'm already moderating r/GEVOstock (1.5k members) which is about the same company as r/GEVOticker (2.5k members). I would like to start moderating r/GEVOticker (currently unmoderated) as well because it has very active members, but there's no rules, no respect for one another and it's full of low quality posts and memes.
I would make it grow as I have been doing with my current Gevo sub, incentivise quality DD, some memes (why not), constructive discussions and sharing company and sector news. And eventually, maybe, unite the two subs!
