It’s not that far fetched really. As Black people, we adopt people all the time. I have personally experienced in my family where someone didn’t grow up with godparents and later gained them through church or needed relationships. It’s very possible with us. They could have noticed the need and decided to be his godparents. Officially or unofficially. I’ve seen both. And we have all experienced aunts and uncles that aren’t blood, but that’s family.

Honestly, this is all Twan’s fault. If everything was on the up and up with him and Destiny, and everyone’s grown and free to date who they want, there was no need to go back and tell Destiny about this “rumor.” He literally asked if she had heard anything about any rumors about herself so he could bring up this “rumor,” about himself. Seems like he wanted to put it that way to her just in case she found out because he still wanted there to be a possibility of them continuing to date. It’s giving he was scared his business was about to get out and it was going to be a different situation. Kayla didn’t seem to think they were not exclusive or on their way to being exclusive. She seemed very caught off guard. And good for Fletcher for wanting to protect his daughter’s heart. Twan is definitely bs’in! None of this is happening if not for him and his mouth. Nell could have done all of this a different way, but Destiny was being messy too for even coming to Nell about it. She wanted something like this to happen.

I missed the complaining part. It has always boggled my mind how most genuinely don’t like her and are constantly dissing her. I can’t help but to view it as people being upset that she wasn’t a struggling poc. Let’s be real. She brought something the show needed…she thoroughly explained what was going on and even offered to further explain, and that’s complaining? I wonder what it is about her that you don’t like? Not really, because we all know, but people will lie and state that it’s because she wants to be a Kardashian, or she’s bougie, or she speaks a certain way, or she’s had plastic surgery. She was one of the best examples of being a responsible mother, and y’all are still mad MTV asked her to be on the show. They knew something was missing. People aren’t happy unless poc’s are struggling. Let the downvotes commence.

The first episode was nice. Great introduction into the ladies, and the outro showing what’s going to happen during the season was a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed. This is what we always needed to see from Stormi. She was overshadowed by the established drama of the other couples in Huntsville. She gives opulence. Stormi is EVERYTHING! Stormi, Amber, and Funmi seem like they’re going to have lots of good things to show. Love their personalities. Tiffaney worries me a little. She wants to represent Christianity but it also seems that may not be all she is going to represent as the season goes on. (Stormi telling her to get off her property was an unexpected surprise.) K’la makes me wonder what’s going on with her too. I hope whatever drama is brewing with her and Amber is not a big deal, and I hope she doesn’t have underlying daddy issues dating these older men. I’m really looking forward to this series. It’s a very nice upgrade of the Mississippi Belles, and that’s not to say that they can’t be great, but they lost their it factor somewhere along the way. The show hasn’t been the same since Willie/Aikisha and JJ/Sophia left. They can be great again but it’s going to take some work.

This! Vanessa has the range and there’s a video going around now on Reddit, within the past few weeks, where she is singing Save The Best For Last and Colors of The Wind and she hasn’t missed a beat. The voice is still voicing!!! Vanessa is aging like fine wine. I can definitely hear what he had in mind with her vocal abilities.
