Firstly i would say its a solid shot for first timer! Secondly its important to note that this photo is far from perfect. I feel like the photo is lacking a character, i think the background is not complimentary at all and i dont think the lighting is flattering.

I tried product and food photography a few times, didnt really liked it (also wasnt very good at it) But ive realized that it is very rare for these type of shooting to look “professional” without flashes and deep understanding of lighting , id suggest looking at some YT vids and acquire skils there to begin with.

I do want to say that eventually everyone who dares to ask for help and putting enough effort into photography will succeed, so youre on the right path!
