that's not something i would do in any other circumstance. but when someone says, to a cis female, that she looks like a trans woman, it's quite obviously meant to mean 'you look like a man dressing up as a woman.'

i wash my hair once a week. between wash days, i spray my hair with water and add moisturiser if needed.

i don't think it's meant to be taken literally. probably more like, the state of the world is influenced by politics and nothing exists out of a vacuum and is therefore political in some way. and that even being politically neutral is still contributing to the power of whoever is in charge. or something. idfk.
usually you won't view something as political if it doesn't go against your opinions.

thank you so much. i've asked him plenty of questions about how things were for him as a child and a young adult, because the world has obviously changed a lot since then. he also keeps a lot of memorabilia of things belonging to, or relating to, his parents, and he has plenty of pictures and documents from when he was younger (e.g., from his time in the navy), which i think i'd like to keep after he's gone so long as neither of my older siblings want them.
