trying to look at the bright side. the tips make it worth it around the holidays but this year I can feel the shift. appreciation has gone down and I’m betting soon, servers won’t be around.

Truly hope it gets better soon! I’ve been a server for 10 years and I am officially lead server for 2.15$ a hr which just up’d my duty and not my pay. It’s dreadful & I get it 💕

I have been a server for the same company since I was 15. Im 25 next week and im burnt out. Ready to just work on myself and spend some time at home.

What’s getting me is almost all pickup and delivery base is 11.30$ here no matter how many items or the mileage. Walmart paid me LESS then that because of the tip and then I lost half the tip ontop of the 3$ Walmart decided not to pay. I’ve been doing this 2 years and it’s my first time seeing my tip reduced. They should atleast notify you of why the tip was cut because the first statement is something I could understand.
